• Domestic Crawler Undercarriage and Cast Steel Parts: Specialized high-grade castings and special steel materials researched and produced at the Komatsu Global Site starting in the 1930s to replace imported parts.

• Proprietary Diesel Engines: Indigenous diesel engine designs integrated into their heavy machinery line starting in 1949.
