What is Sudoku?
Sudoku is a game of numbers that invovles outwitting your adversaries through a set number of rules and techniques - or can by played alone. To put things simply - place an accurate number in time and you'll be all set on the road to winning.
The Grid:
Imagine a 9x9 grid divided into 9 smaller 3x3 squares called blocks.
Each square in the larger grid can only hold one number from 1 to 9.
The Rules:
No repeats in rows: All 9 numbers must appear in each of the 9 rows, without repeating any number within that row.
No repeats in columns: Similarly, all 9 numbers must appear in each of the 9 columns, without repeating any number within that column.
No repeats in blocks: Each of the 9 smaller 3x3 blocks must also contain all 9 numbers, without repeating any number within that block.
Playing the Game:
Start with a grid that already has some numbers pre-filled in. These clues are your starting point to fill in the remaining squares.
Use logic and deduction to figure out where each remaining number should go, considering the restrictions in rows, columns, and blocks.
Eliminate possibilities based on the existing numbers and the rules.
There are various techniques like identifying "singles," "naked pairs," and "hidden singles" to narrow down your options and make logical deductions.
As you fill in more squares, new possibilities and restrictions emerge, guiding you towards the solution.
